2023/03/24

Under the active promotion of Principal Liu Kuo-Wei(劉國偉), the academic policy has fully implemented the one-year internship in the fourth year of college, hoping students can be employed and accumulate industry experience during their academic period. On January 12, 2023, it was signed a "Brand Creation Value Program" with The One. On the afternoon of March 22, ten students and faculty members from the Department of Leisure Management(休閒系), Department of Hotel Management and Culinary Creativity(旅廚系), and Department of Marketing and Logistics Management(行銷系), arranged by Chair Hung Yuh-Mei(洪毓美), visited NanYuan Land of retreat & wellness of The One Corporation.
Chair Hung Yuh-Mei stated that on March 8, CEO Liu Bang-Chu(劉邦初) was invited to introduce the talent cultivation, corporate culture, and workplace environment of NanYuan to students from the College of Service Industry Management, and the College of Management. The students who were interested in internships were further invited to visit NanYuan in person, which led to this visit by students and faculty members.
The visit was led by a graduate of the Department of Leisure Management, and the current second-in-command of NanYuan, Liao Yu-Jun(廖于珺). The itinerary included tasting delicate lunch and tea, visiting the gardens, buildings, kitchens, guest rooms, and event facilities, and sharing career stories with the department heads of the housekeeping department and the chef who had previously worked at a three Michelin-starred restaurant.
At the end of the visit, CEO Liu of NanYuan had a close conversation with the students, discussing life tastes, talent cultivation, and the business vision of service industry enhancement. CEO Liu welcomed students who were enthusiastic and had ideals to join, and promised that NanYuan would be a learning and growth opportunity, allowing internships to become the nourishment for students to enter the workplace.
