In anticipation of graduation season, the Counseling and Career Development Center(諮商輔導暨職涯發展中心) of Minghsin University of Science and Technology will host the "2023 Campus Recruitment and Employment Fair(2023校園徵才就業博覽會)" on March 30, inviting 142 companies to participate in the recruitment event, offering nearly 20,000 job vacancies.
The organizer, Counseling and Career Development Center, stated that in response to the lifting of covid-19 epidemic restrictions, this year's campus recruitment fair will be expanded, and many well-known corporations have actively joined the recruitment efforts. There will be 142 booths on site, providing a total of nearly 20,000 job opportunities. Among them, the number of job openings for engineering and mechanical engineers is the highest, while the number of service industry job openings such as leisure, food and beverage, accommodation, and retail has increased significantly, providing more job opportunities.
Since the establishment of the Semiconductor School(半導體學院), Minghsin has established a reputation for cultivating technological talents, and semiconductor technology factories have come to participate in campus recruitment to grab talents. TSMC, responding to the expansion of operations, has released the most job openings. In addition to recruitment booths, 20 companies will also hold recruitment orientations that day to introduce their business operations and development. The "Jobtaole Career Development Center" Minghsin branch(賈桃樂學習主題館明新分館) of the Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli Regional Branch, WDA, MOL(勞動部勞動力發展署桃竹苗分署), located on campus, will also provide career counseling, simulated interviews, and other services.
For four consecutive years, Minghsin has had the highest number of foreign students (formal degree students) among colleges and universities in Taiwan, becoming a partner in training overseas Taiwanese business talents. At this year's campus recruitment event, 78 companies will hire foreign students, hoping to recruit more multinational outstanding talents on campus.
On the day of the campus recruitment fair, it will also cooperate with the Alumni Service Center(校友服務中心) and Hsinchu Startup Hub(新竹青創基地) and invite 14 entrepreneurial alumni to set up booths to showcase their entrepreneurial process and achievements, welcoming young friends to seize the opportunity to interact and learn from their experiences.(Source: Counseling and Career Development Center)
