The Talent Cultivation Center for National Armed Forces at Office of Lifelong Education organized its first overseas exchange program for ROTC students. A group of 15 students visited the sister school, " Nishinippon Institute of Technology " in Japan, from November 24th to November 29th. The itinerary included visits to the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF), contributing to broadening their international perspectives.
In this inaugural overseas exchange initiative by the Talent Cultivation Center for National Armed Forces, President Liu Kuo-Wei personally presented the flag to the visiting students during a pre-departure briefing. He encouraged the students to seize the opportunity to broaden their horizons.
The ROTC visiting group received a warm welcome from Nishi-Nippon Institute of Technology. The delegation also paid visits to the Mayor and Speaker of Toyoura City, the Taiwan-friendly Members of the Japan-Taiwan Friendship Parliamentary Alliance, the Fukuoka Office, and the Japan International Exchange Association.
The visiting group made a special trip to the Tsukiji Air Base, where they witnessed static displays and aerobatic performances of Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) aircraft. Additionally, they visited the Maritime Self-Defense Force Yamato Museum and Archives for further exchange and exploration.
