【2023 International Webinar】From Quality Assurance to Sustainable Development-How QA Advances the SDGs in Higher Education Institutions with a Global Approach

2023/09/04

For 20 years, the Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association (TWAEA) has been dedicated to developing higher education quality assurance. Being aware of the importance of global development of higher education, TWAEA invites the Japan University Accreditation Association (JUAA) and Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) to hold up an international webinar, hoping to create opportunities for international communication, cooperations, and dynamics.

The webinar theme is “From Quality Assurance to Sustainable Development-How QA Advances the SDGs in Higher Education Institutions with a Global Approach.” To deal with the impact of wealth disparity, international turmoil, COVID-19 and AI trends, governments and educational institutions are striving to find ways for sustainable development. In the webinar, we hope to exchange information on how QA agencies can help education institutions meet higher education’s needs in different situations and continue to achieve educational goals of sustainable learning (SDGs Goal 4) with equality, diversity, and inclusion. It will be the meaning of sustainable education that accreditation agencies can actively develop in the future and implement in line with international standards.
