Dormitory Fee

 

Apart from publicity, promotion, and assisting students with necessary procedures for coming to Taiwan, our university has not outsourced any admissions-related affairs.

 

 

Dormitory Fees (Per Academic Year)

Male Dormitories

• Jung Dorm.: 4-person shared room – NT$20,100 (including NT$2,000 deposit)

• Sin Dorm.: 4-person shared room – NT$20,100 (including NT$2,000 deposit)

• Ren Dorm.: 2-person shared room – NT$24,400 (including NT$2,000 deposit)

Female Dormitory

• Ai Dorm.: 4-person shared room – NT$20,100 (including NT$2,000 deposit)

Co-ed Dormitory

• Ti-An Building: 4-person suite – NT$27,600 (including NT$2,000 deposit)

※ The deposit will be refunded after completing one full academic year and passing the final dormitory check-out. No refund will be issued for mid-term withdrawal.

※ Prepaid electricity fees: NT$1,500 for Jung Dorm., Sin Dorm., Ren Dorm., and Ai Dorm.; NT$3,000 for Ti-An Building.

Facilities

All rooms are equipped with basic furniture including a bed frame (mattress not included), desk, desk lamp, chair, and wardrobe. Additional amenities include internet access, self-service laundry, common lounge, and security facilities. However, bathrooms are shared, and there are no kitchens in the dormitories.

Notes

1.Dormitory curfew is from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Roll call is conducted at 11:00 PM daily for student safety.

2.Minghsin University of Science and Technology is a smoke-free and alcohol-free campus. According to the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act, smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of universities and only allowed in designated outdoor smoking areas. Violators may be fined NT$10,000 to NT$50,000. Please follow the designated smoking zones.

3. The university does not provide family-style or co-ed room arrangements in the dormitories.
