  • Renewals can be processed only after half of the borrowing period has elapsed.
  • Borrowed items must be remembered for their due dates; overdue books will incur a fine of NT$2 per day for each item.
  • The library sends circulation notices via email daily. Please check your email regularly to ensure receipt of these notifications;
    Email notifications are a courtesy reminder from the library and fines cannot be waived due to uncontrollable internet issues preventing receipt of related email notifications.

1. Ming Hsin University Borrowing Application Form:

Applicable Persons and Required Documents:

  • Alumni and Retirees: Graduation certificate or retirement certificate and a copy of ID (Deposit NT$1000)
  • Short-term Service and Continuing Education: Original ID and appointment letter or university-issued identification (Deposit NT$1000)
  • Friends of the Library: Applicable group or individual must bring agency proof and original ID (Deposit NT$1000)
  • Other External Individuals: Personnel from cooperating units that meet library borrowing service regulations (Deposit NT$3000)

2. Prospective Graduate Student Borrowing Application Form:

Applicable Persons: Individuals who have been admitted to the university's master's or doctoral programs and have completed registration but not yet enrolled (Department seal required).
Important Notes:

  1. The authorized person must be a faculty member, student, or family member of the university.
  2. To protect personal rights, the authorizing person must bring identification to the library circulation desk to apply for proxy borrowing.
  3. The authorized person must present their identification, authorization letter, and the authorizing person's identification when borrowing.
  4. After the authorized person borrows, the library will print a borrowing list for them to take back, and the authorizing person must verify it to avoid any issues.

3. Library Proxy Borrowing Application Form:

Applicable Persons: Individuals who have been admitted to the university's master's or doctoral programs and have completed registration but not yet enrolled (Department seal required).

4. Library Borrowing Privileges / Access Card Application Form (Fenghu Community College):

  1. Eligibility: Fenghu Community College students.
  2. A. Access Card Application:
    1. 1. After completing the application form, please proceed to the Library to pay the access card processing fee of NT$150.
    2. 2. The access card is valid for library entry only and does not grant borrowing privileges. The card validity period is up to one year.
    3. 3. The access card is non-transferable and for personal use only. Lending, selling, or transferring the card to others is strictly prohibited.
    4. B. Borrowing Privileges Application:
  3. 1. After completing the application form, please proceed to the Cashier's Office on the 1st floor of the Administration Building to pay a refundable deposit of NT$1,000.
  4. 2. Bring your payment receipt and valid identification document to the Library Circulation Desk on the 1st floor for patron registration and account activation.
  5. C. Important Notes:
    1. 1. Fenghu Community College students are entitled to borrow up to 5 items with a loan period of 14 days. Materials may be renewed once.
    2. 2. Patrons are responsible for stamping the due date on borrowed items and returning them by the due date. Overdue fines are NT$2 per item per day.
    3. 3. Before requesting a deposit refund, patrons must return all borrowed materials to the Library. Upon confirmation of no outstanding fines or violations, patrons may proceed to the Cashier's Office with the refund slip to process the deposit refund.
