Book Donations & Gifts

The library accepts book donations primarily to support teaching and research, while also promoting diverse reading and personal development.

Donation Guidelines

  • Resources must be officially authorized with complete copyright.
  • Items must be in good physical condition, usable, and free from damage or missing pages.
  • Computer-related resources should generally be published within the last five years due to their time-sensitive nature.

Processing of Donations

  • Donated materials are generally not kept in separate rooms or shelves; they will be cataloged and archived based on collection development needs.
  • Donated books will be marked with a donor stamp, and an electronic letter of appreciation will be sent.
  • The library reserves the right to process donated materials, including archiving, weeding, redistribution, or other appropriate actions.
