催生「豐湖社區大學」 推廣教育中心舉行終身學習服務平台專家諮詢會議

      本校終身教育處推廣教育中心接受新竹縣府教育局委託，辦理新豐與湖口鄉的學習需求調查，並進行「豐湖社區大學」設置可行性評估，3月27日上午於校內哈佛講堂舉行專家諮詢會議。教育局終身教育科徐筱卿科長、本校彭政雄副校長、終身教育處陳永忠處長、及新豐、湖口相關單位代表出席與會。彭政雄副校長代表校方感謝與歡迎關心終身教育的學者、專家、新豐與湖口兩鄉行政機關代表、社區頭人們，及關注未來終身學習發展的為夥伴們，面對面溝通座談，為解答各種終身學習疑問。

      彭政雄副校長表示，推廣教育中心接受縣府教育局委託，執行112年度新豐與湖口鄉的學習需求調查計畫，對「豐湖社區大學」設置進行評估。本計畫因應「文化、科技、智慧城」的縣政發展藍圖，及扣合教育局「科技創新・國際視野・扎根閱讀・深耕藝文」願景架構，並以客家文化與環境永續為核心，為社區開創更新更好的未來學習路徑。本計畫透過「專家諮詢會議」、「推廣說明會及工作坊」、「終身學習參訪」，構築未來四年的終身學習執行推動架構與「學習行動攻略指南」方案，再辦理「學習成果展」，來產生在地特色與終身學習的連結。
      教育局終身教育科徐筱卿科長表示，在專家諮詢會議，每位縣民朋友在與專家學者的面對面對談時，都能對於未來長出在地化與獨特性，屬於豐湖地區的社區大學，有很深的期待。

      在專家會議中，熱烈討論新豐、湖口的社區學習資源，目前任教於本校推廣教育中心品味學習課程及社區大學課程的張秀蓮老師提到：「對於稍微偏遠鄉鎮的成人學習機會尚不是非常充足的狀況下，覺得新竹縣辦理第三所社區大學是非常急迫也是很棒的一件事！超高齡社會即將來臨，學習需求要及早因應。」社區大學的成立，對於新豐及湖口鄉的鄉親，與新住民在學習上有很大的幫助，由目前的終身學習機構數再擴充，更貼近社區居民的需求。

      新竹縣府於2011年起積極推展終身學習相關政策，領先全國推出《新竹縣終身學習白皮書》，並配合「終身學習推展委員會」之設置與推動，陸續開辦社區大學，辦理新移民、高齡者、原住民等各項終身學習活動，並多方面鼓勵相關單位與縣民參加各種成人學習活動，開展縣民社區多元學習機會，建構學習型城市的理想。這次的專家諮詢會議，也感受到社區鄉親渴望學習的需求與活力，也鼓勵有意投入終身學習的縣民朋友一起加入。更多終身學習相關活動可上「豐湖好好學」粉絲專頁網站，洽詢專線03-559-3142#2625、2633、2637張先生、黃小姐、鄭小姐。 (資料提供/推廣教育中心)

The Extension Education Center, under commission from the Education Bureau of HsinChu County Government, conducted a learning needs survey for the Xinfeng and Hukou areas to evaluate the feasibility of establishing the "FongHu Community College." On the morning of March 27, an expert consultation meeting was held at the Harvard Auditorium on campus. Representatives from the Education Bureau's Lifelong Education Division, Xinfeng, and Hukou attended the meeting, along with Vice President Peng Cheng-Hsiung, Chief Chen Yung-Chung of the Office of Lifelong Education, and local stakeholders who are concerned about the development of lifelong learning. They had face-to-face discussions to address various issues related to lifelong learning.
Vice President Peng said that the Extension Education Center is conducting a learning needs survey for Xinfeng and Hukou as part of the commission from the Education Bureau to evaluate the establishment of "FongHu Community College." This project responds to the county's development blueprint and the Education Bureau's policy framework, and takes Hakka culture and environmental sustainability as its core values to create better lifelong learning paths for the community. The project aims to create local characteristics and connections with lifelong learning through expert consultations, promotion briefings and workshops, and lifelong learning organizations visits.
Attendance official from the Lifelong Education Division said, during the expert consultation meeting, every county friend hoped to have a community learning center with localization and uniqueness for Xinfeng and Hukou areas while talking with expert scholars.
In the expert meeting, everyone enthusiastically discussed the community learning resources in Xinfeng and Hukou. The establishment of a community learning center is of great help to the villagers of Xinfeng and Hukou and new immigrants in terms of learning. It can be expanded on the basis of the current lifelong learning institutions to better meet the needs of community residents.
Since 2011, the HsinChu County government has actively promoted policies related to lifelong learning, leading the country to launch the "Hsinchu County Lifelong Learning White Paper" and successively establish community learning centers and organize various lifelong learning activities, encouraging relevant units and county residents to participate, and providing diversified learning opportunities for county residents in the community. The expert consultation meeting also sensed the learning needs and vitality of community residents and welcomed county friends who are interested in investing in lifelong learning to join.
