因疫情停辦3年的全校路跑回歸嘍！5月17日下午大操場舉行久違的全校路跑，全校學生、教職員及校友近千人，在彭政雄副校長的嗚槍信號下，由8隻可愛恐龍在起跑線前帶領大家一起跑起來。

主辦單位體育室表示，「第12屆汗動明新-全校路跑」是今年在疫情降級走向常態化後的首場戶外大型活動，今天下午天氣炎熱高溫，大家活力十足的參與，場面熱鬧。開跑前由運管系師生帶領大家跳熱身操，為路跑活動揭開序幕。

「汗動明新—全校路跑」已經是本校的傳統，路線規劃從大操場出發，以校外鄰近著名景點天德堂為折返點，全程約3公里，折返點與終點均設補給站，透過路跑來欣賞校園周遭的風景。

體育室也指出，今年首度採用晶片計時，讓比賽進行更公平、效率。全程跑完的師生，都可獲發「完跑證明書」；學生男、女生組前30名、教職員工校友男、女子組前20名，除「完跑證明書」，加贈「紀念衫」1件；學生男、女生組取前8名、教職員工校友男、女組取前6名，各頒發獎牌1面。(資料來源/體育室)

The campus marathon event, the "MUST Fun Run," which had been suspended for three years due to the COVID-19, made a comeback! On the afternoon of May 17th, at the main field, nearly a thousand students, faculty, staff, and alumni gathered to participate in the long-awaited campus marathon event. Everyone was under starter's order by Vice President Peng Cheng-Hsiung, and eight students dressed as adorable dinosaurs led everyone to start running.
The organizers, the Division of Physical Education, stated that the "12th MUST Fun Run" campus marathon is the first large outdoor event held after the lifting of the COVID-19 restrictions this year. Despite the hot weather, everyone participated with great enthusiasm. Prior to the race, students and faculty from the Department of Sports Management led a warm-up exercise to kick off the event.
The "MUST Fun Run" has become a tradition at MUST. The route starts from the main field and goes through famous nearby landmarks, with the Tiantedang Temple as the turning point, covering a distance of approximately 3 kilometers. The run allows participants to enjoy the scenery around the campus.
The Division of Physical Education also mentioned that this year's event introduced chip timing for the first time, making the race more fair and efficient. Participants who completed the entire run would receive a "Result Certificate." For the top 30 male and female students, as well as the top 20 male and female alumni and faculty/staff, a commemorative T-shirt would be given as an additional reward. Medals would be awarded to the top 8 students in each category and the top 6 alumni and faculty/staff in their respective categories. (Source: Division of Physical Education)
