6月10日畢業典禮登場 期許脫離疫情牽絆再出發

      驪歌輕唱，本校將在6月10日上午舉辦111學年度畢業典禮。受疫情影響，已兩年未辦實體畢典，800多個戴口罩的日子過去，今年畢典以「Re：Start」為主題，象徵畢業後是全新的開始，期勉畢業生不畏大環境的困難，要勇敢「再出發」。主辦的學務處課外活動指導組表示，今年畢典精心安排，本土化及國際化表演貫穿全場，來歡送3千多位畢業生，最特別的是邀請5位資深校友與畢業生共同唱校歌，傳承意味濃厚。

      今年將有3137位畢業生，典禮邀請澳洲西雪梨大學副校長、菲律賓駐台大使，及天主教新竹教區李克勉主教等貴賓參加。受到新冠疫情的影響，本屆畢業生的4年大學生活，有800多天是戴口罩上學，而實體畢典也停辦兩年，改採線上，因此今年的畢典受到畢業生重視，報名參加格外踴躍。今年畢典將由劉國偉校長及貴賓們頒發智育、群育、體育、服務、勤奮向學等獎項，還有競爭激烈的5位畢業生傑出成就獎，有資工系凌梓淦、運管系石岳、旅廚系陳思宇、電子系江秉瑾及資管系巫威霖5位獲獎同學，在各項領域表現傑出，無論全國競賽、或是運動表現，乃至於全國社團評比獲全國評鑑大獎，都將上台接受表揚。

      在課指組與畢委會精心策劃下，今年畢業典禮走向熱情懷舊風，將安排菲律賓同學表演南洋歌舞打頭陣，緊接著原住民同學表演獨特台灣風味的原民舞蹈，再由社團帶來精彩的演唱，並會有「神秘嘉賓」為畢業生高歌祝福。而典禮的最高潮，將由資深的5位明新校友，與畢業生共同演唱校歌，看似簡單的校歌要大合唱可不容易，尤其學長學弟相隔40多年，唱校歌有股濃濃的傳承意味。在準備畢典的練唱過程中，學長展現對學弟的殷殷期盼及無微不至的關懷令人動容，也讓學弟對學長感謝至極。一場畢典的合唱，把明新大家庭的情感，超越時空的差距緊緊融合。

      111學年度畢業典禮將在6月10日上午10點於校內中正堂大禮堂進行，典禮進行前半小時，五個學院畢業生將先進行校園巡禮，在踏出校門前再一次仔細看看校園，畢典預計在11:30結束。為讓畢業生留下校園美好回憶，畢委會也在校內設置畢業拍貼機，歡迎畢業生與參加親友多加利用。(資料、照片來源/課指組、畢委會)

In June, graduation season arrives, and Minghsin University of Science and Technology will hold its 2023 graduation ceremony on the morning of June 10th to congratulate and bid farewell to 3,137 graduates. This year's theme is "Re：Start," symbolizing a fresh beginning after graduation, encouraging graduates to fearlessly face challenges and courageously embark on a new journey. The Extracurricular Activities Section, the organizer of the event, stated that the graduation ceremony this year will feature both local and international performances throughout. Additionally, five senior alumni will join the graduates in singing the school anthem, representing the spirit of heritage.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19, the graduation ceremony was suspended for two years and shifted to an online format. Therefore, this year's graduation ceremony holds special significance for the graduates. During the ceremony, awards in various categories such as academic achievement, leadership, sports, and service will be presented, along with the Outstanding Achievement Award given to five outstanding graduates.

The 2023 graduation ceremony will include performances by Filipino students, indigenous students, and student clubs, as well as a special guest who will offer heartfelt blessings to the graduates. The highlight of the ceremony will be a joint performance of the school anthem by the five senior alumni and the graduates, symbolizing the passing down of traditions from one generation to the next. Through this collective singing, emotions towards the university will be deeply felt.

The 2023 graduation ceremony will take place on June 10th at 10:00 am in the Zhong Zheng Hall. Half an hour before the ceremony, graduates from the five colleges will have a campus parade, taking one final careful look at the campus before stepping out of the university gate. The Graduate Affairs Committee has arranged a photo wall and photo-stickerbooth for graduates to capture and preserve beautiful memories.
