原民處鼓勵原民青年在職進修考照 培育公部門土木工程高階人才

      本校原民處日前(8月16日)與五峰鄉公所簽署「新竹縣五峰鄉大學社會責任實踐基地合作」意向書，為在地部落永續發展的締結夥伴關係，整合學校與部落在地資源提供優良學習平台，促進部落產業升級。循此，原住民教育發展處林杏tiwaS.tara處長輔導媒合五峰鄉公所建設課謝雨芯等3位原住民同仁參與在職進修，就讀有開設「水土保持工程實務」等多門土木工程與環境資源管理碩士在職進修學分課程，培養土木工程相關專業知識，積極協助五峰鄉公所培育土木工程方面之高階人才，取得相關專業證照。

      林杏tiwaS.tara處長表示，鑒於原住民特考土木工程類之員額不足，營造業缺工嚴重，原住民族委員會亦投入部份資源，透過計畫補助鼓勵原住民學生參與原住民特考。原民處特別提供在職進修學生特考學習資源，由土木工程與環境資源管理系的陳鴻輝主任頒贈「原住民特考土木工程類-四等考試」參考套書及獎學金予謝雨芯、林書瑜、李欣蓉等三位原住民學生，鼓勵部落原住民青年透過課程及研讀套書、歷年題庫練習…等，積極學習為原住民特考做準備，期許未來學有所成能投入部落公職，發揮所學所長。

      本校為擴大原住民學習資源，推廣原住民教育，持續積極爭取原住民各項計畫，帶動校園師生共同投入執行計畫，認識推廣全民原教。像是透過原住民族委員會「111年度補助大專院校原住民族知識研究及教學活動計畫-整合型第2類計畫」，配合土環系規畫「原住民特考-土木工程類」輔導課程，提供土環系原民生參與輔導課程，並辦理原住民專班分享座談會，與有設置土木相關類科之大專院校經驗分享，共同為培養原住民土木工程類人才努力。(圖文提供/原住民發展教育處)

The Office of Aboriginal Affairs recently signed an intention of “The cooperation for the University Social Responsibility Practice Base in Wufeng Township, Hsinchu County" with the Wufeng Township Office on August 16. Through this partnership, the office is actively assisting three indigenous employees from the township office in enrolling in the in-service Master's program in Department of Civil Engineering and Environmental Informatics offered by our university. This collaboration aims to cultivate high-level talents in civil engineering and assist them in obtaining certifications.

The Office of Aboriginal Affairs specifically provides reference books for civil service exams and scholarships to encourage indigenous youth from tribal communities to pursue in-service education. By passing civil service exams, they can build successful careers and contribute their expertise to their communities.

Our university continues to actively seek opportunities to expand educational resources for indigenous students and promote indigenous education. Through funding from the Council of Indigenous Peoples (CIP), we offer counseling courses for indigenous students majoring in Environmental Engineering, organize seminars for indigenous students, and share experiences with other universities that offer programs related to civil engineering.
