明新科大董座交接 郝碧蓮接任董事長

      明新科技大學1月12日舉行第十七屆董事長交接典禮，現任董事長張祖民交棒由郝碧蓮董事接任，由董事會張紹鈞董事擔任監交人，董事會成員、校長劉國偉、校友總會長曾明清及校內一二級主管等皆出席觀禮祝賀。新任董事長郝碧蓮從卸任董事長張祖民手中接過印信，象徵明新科大新的開始，新任董事長郝碧蓮表示，希望在大家的指導支持下帶領明新再創高峰。

      卸任董事長張祖民任期內適逢世紀大疫，辛苦帶領學校穩健發展，受到校內外一致感謝與好評。

      新任董事長郝碧蓮政大政治系畢業並負笈美國哈佛大學及南加州大學，均獲政治碩士學位，曾任職行政院新聞局及正中書局等，並創辦立緒文化事業有限公司。郝碧蓮一生堅信公平合理，有公無私，希望為校園創造更健康的教學研究環境，師生在此更悠遊自在。

      參與交接典禮的貴賓之一，曾任中華民國駐梵蒂岡教廷全權大使、駐英國代表、行政院新聞局副局長的戴瑞明先生是郝碧蓮的老長官，稱許郝是一位正直、認真、有方向感的人，相信她必會遵循創校前輩們的腳步，發揚光大明新創校精神。(資料來源：董事會、秘書處)

Minghsin University of Science and Technology held its 17th Chairman Handover Ceremony on the January 12. The current chairman, Chang Chu-Ming, passed the baton to the new chairman, Hau Bi-Lyan, with board member Chang Shaw-Chun overseeing the transition. Board members, President Liu Kuo-Wei, Alumni Association President, and various administrative officials were present to witness and celebrate the occasion. The new chairman, Hau Bi-Lyan, received the seal from the outgoing chairman, symbolizing a new beginning for Minghsin Tech. She expressed her hope to lead Minghsin to new heights with the support and guidance of everyone.
During his tenure, the outgoing chairman, Chang Chu-Ming, navigated the university through the challenges of a global pandemic, leading the school to stable development and earning widespread appreciation and acclaim both within and outside the university.
The new chairman, Hau Bi-Lyan, graduated from the Department of Political Science at National Chengchi University and furthered her studies in the United States, earning Master's degrees in Political Science from Harvard University and the University of Southern California. She has held positions at the Government Information Office and Cheng Chung Book Company and is the founder of New Century Publishing Co., Ltd. Hau has always believed in fairness and selflessness, aiming to create a healthier teaching and research environment where faculty and students can thrive.
