Introduction

The Office of Research and Development is composed of one Director of R&D and one Assistant. It oversees the following four centers: the University Planning Center, the Industry-Academia and Research Promotion Center, the Sustainable Development and Institutional Research Center, and the Employment and Innovation Incubation Center.

Its mission is to promote academic and technological research development across the university. Under the policy of “Professional University Governance,” it also promotes a data- and evidence-based approach to university planning and decision-making. Research findings are provided as references for teaching and administrative units in formulating and implementing related measures.
