Introduction

In 2021, our university established the International Foundation Program (IFP) in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s Implementation Plan for Expanding the Recruitment of Overseas Chinese Students, Students from Hong Kong and Macao, and International Students in Key Industrial Fields, with the goal of cultivating international talents to meet the needs of Taiwan’s key industries.

The program adopts a “1+4” curriculum structure:

Year 1: Students take Mandarin preparatory courses to build a solid language foundation.

Upon reaching TOCFL A2: Students may then progress to one of the university’s four key industrial fields for four years of professional study.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing administrative management of preparatory students, including admissions, curriculum, academic records, student affairs, and financial affairs.

2. Providing academic consultation and daily life counseling for Mandarin preparatory students.

3. Designing preparatory curricula and coordinating faculty to ensure course quality and effective learning outcomes.
