Implement dormitory student autonomy
◎Establish a student dormitory committee autonomous organization and hold regular meetings to discuss dormitory matters
Autonomous cadres are responsible for organizing activities, establishing dormitory life conventions, serving dormitory students and assisting dormitory counselors in handling various matters.
◎ Understand students’ needs and help solve problems
Assist boarding students in dealing with various accommodation and life issues.
◎Reflect the demands of boarding students and make timely suggestions on dormitory counseling reforms
Warm and caring activities
◎Birthday party handling
Birthday parties are held regularly every semester to make boarding students feel like a family in the school.
◎ Organize various caring activities in accordance with folk solar terms (making rice dumplings on Dragon Boat Festival, barbecuing on Autumn Festival, eating glutinous rice balls on Winter Solstice, and communicating with each other on Christmas)
Organize various caring activities to celebrate with the boarding students and bring the students closer together.
◎ Parent contact for students who are absent from school
Notify parents of students who are absent from school and hope that parents will cooperate with the school to correct their students' behavior.
◎ Assist in sending sick students to a doctor and provide necessary care
Assist boarding students in sending sick students to a doctor in an emergency and provide necessary care.
◎Application for free accommodation for low-income families
Proactively assist students from remote low-income families to apply for free accommodation to reduce their financial burden.
Off-campus student rental services
◎Rental information provision
Assist students to rent off-campus and establish a rental information website for students to refer to.
◎Compilation and distribution of rental safety manuals
A compilation of safety precautions that should be taken when renting a house to remind students to stay away from harmful factors.
◎Visiting students who rent off-campus
Cooperate with instructors and teachers to regularly visit students who rent off-campus to understand their needs and provide assistance.
◎Students’ Forum
Communicate with off-campus students to gain a deeper understanding of the off-campus living environment and help solve problems.
◎ Strengthen communication with landlords
Contact landlords from time to time and hold seminars to propose improvement suggestions to improve the quality of the rental environment.
◎ Assist students to resolve housing disputes
Coordinate and resolve housing disputes to protect the rights and interests of students.
Renovate and improve dormitory hardware and software facilities
◎ Establish a plan to improve dormitory internal facilities year by year
◎ Expand dormitory leisure space and purchase more internal equipment
◎ Establish a rapid repair reporting process
